I like the textures here Dave - and the sky is brilliant!
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Chris!
Just wonderful, David. Love the textures and the point of view and the sky and, well....everything! (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ros! smile

glorious view point and I love the muted colours lab mode perchance ?
Dave Carrington: I just desaturated the shot after a few curve adjustments for the sky. I never thought about LAB: probably would have been more interesting...
The contrasts and that sky are wonderful, Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Tom: Fleetwood beach always produces some great stuff! You should take a trip over here...
I like the way you think that is either a piece of wood or part of the landscape. Great composition Dave
Dave Carrington: The wood is part of a 'Groyne' on the beach at Fleetwood: it's part of the landscape if your only about 2 inches tall! smile
as the crab says, how do i get over that, good shot
Dave Carrington: If you're a crab, it's a mighty wall! smile
I like the combination of textures and the blue tone.
Dave Carrington: Ta, Nig!
I like this. Initially very hard to read, because the timber forms a horizon and almost looks like an expanse of sand.
