PERFECT
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Guys! Perfect is OK with me..!
I really like this, Dave. From the thumbnail, I thought it was an exotic leaf. Love the colour and texture, and the composition is beautiful. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Hi, Roz. This is one of those pictures of something very ordinary which with a few simple tweaks can become something different.
Is that barrel distortion or a curving fence?
Dave Carrington: Hi, David. Simply a curving fence...
Like Suby & Simon say: PERFECT!
Very beautiful tones and well composed. Goes to my likeys. In the thumbnail it looked like a leaf.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Frank!
Have to agree with the rest
Really like the color tones in this one. Likey
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Magnus!
I like this a lot. Turning something very ordinary into something interesting, even exotic. I also wondered whether the fence was bent or whether you added the curve yourself.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ian. It's a curving fence that can be found on Lytham beach!
Like Rozie, I mistaken it for the leaf, looking at the thumbnail. Simple and very expressive shot, Dave. Wonder, if you tried a more dynamic composition, placing the fence at the angle.
Dave Carrington: Hi, VZ: I tied all sorts of crops, tilts, etc, but this is the one that seemed to work best.
As long as the iron spikes didn't pierce you... and an interesting angle David. richard
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Richard. I remain unpierced...
If I scroll the image rapidly using the middle mouse button, it distorts my fragile mind (but in a good way). Really rather fab.
Dave Carrington: Far out, Man!
If I look at this for a while I start to feel as if I am falling into the picture. Weird!
Dave Carrington: Maybe it's Lytham's twilight-zone, Bill!
Good abstract, I like the processing too.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Nig!
Drips from the screen, lovely stuff DC.....
Dave Carrington: I like 'Drips from the screen'! What a great descriptive comment, Herr Shoot!
Great work with the hard contrasts in this one...
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it!
Wow! What a great image. Nice one Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ron S!
