10 out of ten, Dave. Classic. All is here: drama, solitude, sense of inevitability...
The fugure is essential.
Z
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Z: all of the above are essential elements in most of my waking moments! smile
What a fabulous, dramatic shot. I feel that cool rain. This is very, very good.
Dave Carrington: I'm so pleased you think so, Mary smile
The guy make the shot.

Very well done!
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Remi!

Great shot Dave. I agree about the figure - shows just how insignificant we really are. This almost looks like a tornado approaching.
Ingrid
Dave Carrington: We really are powerless when standing against Nature in full flow, Ingrid.
Dave this is a normal English summer. It's the hot dry stuff that is not normaltongue This so much more interesting than a clear blue sky and somebody sat in a deckchair
Dave Carrington: Well, yes, that's so, Bill. It would be good to get the odd sunny day though! smile
What a beach! Looks good to me ... more than good.

Yup, that looks like a British summer. But how you'd miss the weather if the sky was always blue.
Dave Carrington: Very true! Blue sky, long white beaches, constant sunshine...hey, who needs that torture!

This is a gooden dad!

Love that little figure! smile
Dave Carrington: Gooden sounds like some kinda cheese to me! Glad you like it: about time you had a go at some of this stuff: Now that I've bought a 30D, you can have a go with my old camera!

Epic.
Dave Carrington: Yup: that IS Moses in the foreground...
Nice on again, have you coloured the sea?
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Nig. The sea is only just visible on the horizon of the beach due to shooting from a low angle & tide being out. Overall, I have altered levels, selective colours & used a long 'S' curve to tweak the sky.
Super & Dramatic! Love it.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it! smile
We had some days (or weeks probably) here like this one over the summer...crazy weeks...anyway, this picture is art.
Very dramatic and inspirational.
Dave Carrington: Glad you think so, Gabor. Thanks for visiting! smile
