Blood of the Sun

Well, if you can remember this song, you're as old as me...!

By the way, I shot this through a discarded plastic umbrella...

well if you hadn't revealed how you shot this i guess it would have remained a mystery Dave, great imaginative stuff fella, smile
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Tim! smile
Never heard of the song...I'm probably too oldgrin

Great picture and like Tim would never have worked out the how!
Dave Carrington: Hi, Bill. The song's by a band called Mountain, who were regarded as an American answer to Cream. They performed this at the first Woodstock festival, so it's going back a bit! What this has to do with the shot, I'm not sure! smilesmile
I'll have to try the discarded umbrella technique. It has produced an atmospheric and evocative image here.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ian!
Turneresque ...

I vaguely remember a film of that name ... God you're bloody old Dave
Dave Carrington: That I am! smile But...I wasn't around when it was released...unlike Al! smilesmile
Jimmy Cagney in the film of the name, remember it like yesterday, I think I was one at the time!

Looks a bit oriental. I suppose you will have to fins a place for this umbrella in your gadget bag. Very imaginative
Dave Carrington: It's already there along with bits of tram shelter & that bit of bloody perspex from Skipool creek! smile

Not sure I know the song, but I can recall Woodstock!

Love the picture though
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ellie. Most of Woodstock was eclipsed by Hendrix & Santana as far as far as I recall. Glad you like the pic! smile
I remember that shot at Skipool creek!
Really like this too.
Dave Carrington: Hey, Jose! Me & Digi had a good day out at Skipool Creek: set the world to rights, shot muddy stuff through perspex, got wet: what more can two old geezers want, I say? smile
