Looks like the dark riders in the mist from the Lord of the Rings. Great image.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Les. This shot seems to one of those images that everyone sees differently, which is always cool!
a hypnogogic vision.

happy hour with full moon.
Dave Carrington: So my pix put you to sleep, eh..eh? smilesmile
Les is right. Lovely moody image.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Jose: moody is good, methinks!
Had to look up what hypnogogic meant.......this is what the Guardian looks like to me as I have er.....misplaced me reading specs. You know I'm going to stick this in my likeys, step forward entrant number 3( yes I really really.......really like this)
Dave Carrington: I wish the Guardian looked like this with or without specs: might start buying it again...
Likeys: I'm not worthy, Master & other obsequious blatherings...smile

what a wonderful image. very nice work
Dave Carrington: G'day, Nev: wonderful is such a pleasing adjective smile
Beautiful image, very good choice to present it in B&W. It reminds me of one of Jesus's healings (Mark 8:22-25.) Jesus begins the healing of a blind man and then asks him if he can see anything. The man looks up and says "I can see people, but they look like trees, walking." Then Jesus laid His hands on him again, and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly." Gee, I didn't know anyone had a camera in those days to record the event! smile
Dave Carrington: Hi, Patrushka. A very apt quote! I'm probably long overdue some of His healing hands...smile

I've just had to look up hypnogogic too, big words shouldn't be allowed!

But, he's right. Looking at the picture I can see all sorts of things, ostriches walking towards me, men on stilts wearing silly hats, trees through a steamy train window ... that sort of thing, but that's not what I tend to imagine as I'm falling asleep! Very clever picture, I like it.
Dave Carrington: Got me at it now: spindle-shanked creatures from nightmares, Batman, St. Valentines Day massacre, ghostly camel trains,... Stop, Stop!! smile
Lovely abstract and all the better for being processed this way...
Dave Carrington: Hi, Shooter! This is a shot I've had lurking around for years. I always knew there was something in it, but it's taken until now for me to realise what it was: proves you should never delete anything!
Stunning effect, great colors and well done post processing.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Pedro. Glad you think so!
This is great. The atmosphere is unbelievable. These blurred shots are great smile
Gorgeous moody blurry
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Nigel!
