The colors, lines, and hint of the posts at the bottom are so well done, Dave.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Kathryn.
What a wonderful and peculiar refection. Great tones here!
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Richard.
Lovely shot. Is this from when we had our orange sunsets the other weekend?
Dave Carrington: Alas, no: simply a reflection in a local canal, hence the title!
Very Turneresque colours David.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Bill. I like the ripples which give the impression of brush-strokes, although perhaps not Turners brush style?
Very turnabout Turneresque feel to this. richard
Dave Carrington: 'tis 'Upturnered', I guess!
Another great shot.
Dave Carrington: Glad you think so, Steve.
have you been hanging off the peir like a bat to get your pics then Dave? Abstractly beautiful. mal
Dave Carrington: I go to any extreme to get what I want, even if it means being a human bat...
Good grief, I knew it was going to be special from the thumbnail, but I didn't quite expect this. Turner came to mind, but it looks as if Bill's beaten me to that thought.
Dave Carrington: Turner is one my favourite artists...not sure I've done him justice here. I enjoy this emulation of painting that CS2 can create though.
right, I get it now... could be Skipol Creek though...
Dave Carrington: Skipool creek never looks this good, even with a sunset!!
Lovely photo. The posts at the bottom do a nice job of grounding the picture, while the reflection of the sunset makes for a very warm abstract.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Jewlya. Glad you like it!
This is utterly mesmerizing! (:o)
Dave Carrington: Don't fall into a trance, Roz...
