I've had an enforced break from posting for the last week or so due to my PC's hardrive dying! The worst part, though, is that it's looking doubtful if any of the data can be retrieved. Like a complete idiot, I never got around to backing up most of my work, so this blog could well become the only record of my work.

Needless to say, I'm gutted: what makes it worse is the fact that I have a 500GB remote drive that I was given as a birthday present which I haven't even taken out of it's box!!

So, if anyone has any tips on retrieving data from dead drives, they would be much apreciated! :-)
