photoblog image Spook

Spook

I really like graffiti: yes, I know it's criminal damage, etc. but, in some instances, it's great art. I have a few more shots of it on my old blog which I will transfer onto this one soon.

wow, I thought it was a shadow at first... is the silverish tinge in the wall natural? it looks really good smile I'm trying to decide though... is the dark side (of the wall) on the right complimenting the shot or not.

But I guess it is if it made me look twice at it and comment grin great job.
Dave Carrington: Mia, no, the tinge isn't natural. I've used selective colour & desaturated the image & altered the contrast using curves. The dark edge is part of an added vignette. The original image was bigger, but I decided to crop it at the last minute: it packs more punch this way!
