Old jalopy

I don't drive( yes, I know I'm a living anachronism! ), & don't know a great deal about cars. Today I came across some kind of vintage car meet in Lytham: some of these old machines looked pretty good & were in nice condition.

I've desaturated, curved & recoloured this shot & added a vignette: smashing, wot?

A Morris 8, I remember my father borrowing one of these to take us on holiday to Scotland. It broke down twice. First the water pump fell off and went through the radiator in Lancaster and then south of Dumfies the big ends went. Great holiday.

This looks like a nice specimen. I am intrigued by the reflection in the edge of the front wing.

Don't drive, how eco friendly is that!
Dave Carrington: Hi, Alistair. Sounds like the kind of holiday you dream of...then wake up in a cold sweat..:~wink

I have no idea why I missed this one yesterday Redshift! Love the toning. mal
Dave Carrington: Cheers, Mal. My idea was to add an atmosphere more in keeping with the car's age.
