photoblog image Low tide

Low tide

...or up the  creek wihout a paddle?!

I'm sure this dingy has been left here by it's owner on purpose so that passing photographers will snap it: I'm sure many of you have seen it before!  It certainly helps to create a very calming, serene image!

This looks familiar! I can't quite make out the orientation. The moon looks to be in the wrong place. Is that the lifeboat slip in the background?

Anyway, regardless, great shot, nearly as good as mine wink
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Alistair! I must try harder...smile
But are you SURE it's the same boat?! Lol.

Gorgeous colours, Dave. A calming, serene image.
Dave Carrington: That boat seems to have been there since I was a small buoy...smile

Beautiful, the composition, the colours .. everything.

Where is it?
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Ellie. I Took this one in Lytham, overlooking the Ribble estuary.

Great - calming, serene, engaging. It's the kind of shot I can look at almost forever. I like the limited palette and the balance between the boat and the moon. I know the 'rule' says three focii but I don't think this needs a third.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ron. Sometimes the rules don't apply! Glad you like the shot & thanks for mentioning it!
