photoblog image Penny for them...

Penny for them...

I often see these solitary folk staring out to sea & always wonder what they are thinking. I 'd love to know, but it is something very personal & private which should remain with them alone.

I agree, it should remain private smile You have definately capture a private-like scene.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Dotun! Great minds think alike smile
Could it be Reginald Perrin? Very contemplative shot.
Dave Carrington: 'I didn't get where I am today by taking uncontemplative shots!'

'Quite, DJ!'

I've just had a wee look at your archive (no, I'm not Scottish, though I did spend four years there) and, being who I am, it just seemed the right thing to do to click on this image!
It's interesting because on the thumbnail you can't see the figure, so I wasn't expecting to find someone contemplating the waves.
Come to think of it, during my four years in Scotland (East coast of Fife) I did spend rather a lot of time gazing out to sea like this figure. I was studying philosophy at the time, so it might even have helped me get my degree!
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Penny. Glad you found something you liked! smile
