Tower Trip!

A reflection shot of Blackpool's famous landmark which has an hallucinogenic, dreamy feel, methinks. Distorted reality, but not surreal!

Need to keep my specs on or everything ends up looking like this, intresting piece in the Observer this weekend about what has happened to seaside resorts, worth a read if you can accsess it, anyhow as ever eye catching and well captured.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Old Chap. I've got the Observer, but only got as far as Phil French as yet!
No - certainly not surreal! : )
Gentle dig at my pompousness duly noted.
Superb picture none the less and who needs expensive Photoshop filters when you have puddles eh?
Dave Carrington: Exactly! smile

Dave Carrington: Thanks, Mal!
This is a great shot and wacky idea- and thanks for the donkey comment! Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment, but I went shopping in Edinburgh and couldn't get back to the Isle of Skye for two days as the snow blocked the road!
Dave Carrington: Thanks, David. You're practically in the Arctic, so what do you expect?! smile
Great piece of Impressionist imagery! Yet another fantastic interpretation of this familiar landmark.
Dave Carrington: One tries. smile

Love the effect! Its so perfectly distorted smile
Dave Carrington: Hi, Mia. Glad you like it!
Awesome, this really gets my juices flowing. A truly inspirational image, Dave. This is not one I've seen before, and you should seriously think about printing a few large format versions off.

F***** ANTI-SPAM!!!
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it!

Beautiful oil photo. the colours are just great
Dave Carrington: Cheers, Nev!
Wow, it makes Blackpool look rather posh and the tower seems so much more elegant when viewed this way!
Dave Carrington: Yes, you can't see the rusty bits! smile
