Very well done, is it inspired by Eiffel Tower ?
Dave Carrington: Yes! It's not as tall or as sexy! smile
This is an identical viewpoint to one of the award winning photographs by the students at Blackpool Art College. You should pop in and have a look at them they are up in the lobby of the Palatine Road building, so not far for you to waddle!

But how about your image? Interesting you have used Lab Color (sic) I really like the muted range of hues you have chosen when you might have been tempted to saturate the colour in keeping with brash Blackpool. The symmetry is perfect, the flag is a bonus considering the wind normally blows it in the opposite direction!
Dave Carrington: Ha! I saw the photo you refer to after I took this: it's in the Grundy at the moment as part of an exhibition of local school's artwork. Muted tones are probably down to taking the shot at dusk. The flag is a real bonus due to the weather!
I thought it was the Eiffel Tower that was modeled on Blackpool Tower!

I wonder how many people actually look up to see this view? Probably not very many. I like it, and I like the colour too.
Dave Carrington: As I took this, some passing deadhead accused me of 'trainspotting'? Philistine knobheads are all to common here now: Napalming the promenade every Saturday would probably improve Blackpool no end!smile
