Just had a look through your archives, some truly awesome shots there, this definitely is one of them.

Dave Carrington: Thanks for visiting again, Suby!
Masterful! Perfect! But why is it plagiarism?
Dave Carrington: Ta! It's a joke: MaxBlack's 'leitmotif' is the vapour trail, allegedly!

It's pretty hard not to include one these days! smile

Just been on Wikipedia to get my version of Leitmotif nailed down before somebody else gets it:- the reoccuring theme of vapour trails in images irrespective of sky being present or not...actually my leitmotif is more like:- Dave always enters a room to the accompaniment of the sound of a whoopee cushion....anyhow this gives ol Mr Nightingales Blackpool pics a damn good seeing to, see he's producing some baby pic book now..oh how the mighty....
Dave Carrington: My artistic integrity forbids me from doing baby pics. Mind you, if the money's right... smile
hummm, I think I'd like a collection of your photos on my wall. Great picture!
Dave Carrington: Praise indeed! I'm honoured: thank you!

Dave Carrington: Glad to be of service, Petra!
I don't know what you've done, but it looks great!
Dave Carrington: Thanks, David. I've tweaked the shot using channel-mixer in CS2.
Looks great! Not been to Blackpool for a few years!! But it kinda looks attractive in your shot!!
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Mike. The camera never lies, eh? smile

What more can I say, extremely well seen and executed.

dude. this image like totally lights up my soul and makes me connect with the sea.

peace out maaan.
Dave Carrington: Faaaar out, righteous dude! ;-)
The great thing about all this blogging is seeing stuff that is so inspiring, like this, "chatting" to the artists and realising we're in a great big happy club of like-minded souls. I'm off to find that one of the snow on Blackpool beach now, but it isn't a patch on this!
Dave Carrington: Couldn't agree more, Old Chap!

'Happy club of like-minded souls' holds connotations with a certain type of institution smile

Can't wait to see the snow shot!
Fantastic shot - really moody.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Bernie. Glad you like it! smile

You're using big words again!

Great picture though, I like the muted/sepia/mono tones and that bright patch of light
Dave Carrington: Blame grammar schools for that: the Maxter & I have had far too much education...not!

Glad you like it, Ellie
