This is interesting! There is a pretty famous local artist who created a series of paintings starting from photos processed in this manner ( I like her stuff a lot, but her prices are a bit rich for my blood.
Dave Carrington: Thanks for the link, Martin. Interesting stuff, but, as you say, a tad pricey!

This is usually how I see things before the caffeine kicks in.....great shot to wake up to, I will send you a gold star in the post.
Dave Carrington: Damned decent of you, Old chap!
Shouldn't it be Mace rush. Ok, I am in a pick mood this morning!

This shot id having a very strange effect on my eyesight, like a vortex it is sucking me in, weird and effective.
Dave Carrington: I have a subversive agenda: Specsavers give me a cut for every new pair of glasses my viewers have to buy! smile
An incredibly weird effect on the eye! It has an anaglyph effect. Do you need those red and green glasses for this one?
Dave Carrington: Yes! Rush to Specsavers & buy 'em now! smile
I looked at the comment before the tilte and thought it was a close up shot of a certain brand of wood varnish! You can see my mistake surely?
This is what I would have perhaps (15 years ago) called 'trippy'.
Thats a good thing in this case.
Dave Carrington: I drink wood varnish regularly to make sense of this crazy, mixed-up world that's beyond my front step...

A trippy rush certainly. Far out man.
Dave Carrington: Ken Kesey is turning in his grave right now smile
Why are you not saying? It is an anaglyph isn't it!
Dave Carrington: Hey, Jose! It's a single image tweaked with the 'Alien-Skin' plug-in for CS2 on 'Provia' settings & I've added a radial blur to give it that 'Rush'.
Might be interesting to try the glasses anyway?

Darn it, until I read all those replies I thought this was as you'd taken it, some clever whizzing back with the lens when you hit the button.

Wonderful colours, and a super effect, I like it ... even though I'm sure I've got to go to specsavers now!
Dave Carrington: Sorry, Ellie, no fancy pan shot: just trickery!
