Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside...

...but then I've no choice, really, living where I do! That seagull probably agrees. :-)

See the bank holiday crowds are back
Dave Carrington: Ha! Now that the wise electorate of Blackpool have reinstalled a smug, blue-tinged Council, the beaches will soon be thronging with delighted tourists if their stale-gas rhetoric is to be believed...
So where is it you live again? smile
They dont get much better than this imo but i would have chased away the seaside pigeon - either at the time or in the digital darkroom with a big cloning stick!
Are you using Cokins here or is it a polarizer?
Dave Carrington: I seem to live under central pier these days! smile
I used a polarizer, Eddy
On my monitor it looks like some wildness wtih the saturation occurred here, but it works very well for this shot. It gives it a painting-like quality.
Dave Carrington: You can't beat a bit of wildness when dealing with saturation! smile
Seriously, though, you're right, Martin: those lighter blues look a little suspect with a second glance!

Well done with this one - you've made Blackpool look lovely!!
Dave Carrington: Thanks, John. It's an uphill climb believe me!
Vivid, garish and OTT, just like Blackpool, when Stag and Hen descend....
Dave Carrington: Yes, yes, & yes! Central Blackpool is now their domain...

What can I say, a polarized pier! I blame the EU personally they are taking our jobs.
Dave Carrington: Ha! Pole-arisen are we not? Don't have a problem with it, meself...
Dave

I like a lot of your pictures, it's a pleasure to go around in your blog. Regards-Laurence
Dave Carrington: Thanks for visiting, Laurence. Glad you like what you found!

Toxic colours. Shove this image in a holiday brochure and Easy Jet would be flying empty to Europe.
Dave Carrington: Toxic is the new Velvia, Darling!
