Lily Pads

Pond life is our theme today. My head feels full of this mush today: Bad Day At Black Rock, etc.

I  have to admit this shot shot is influenced by michael regnier. Check out his work. He's a great artist & photographer who's well worth taking your time to view!

Say thank you, Michael...:-)

Amazing and beautiful! It looks very much like an impressionist painting... how did you make it?
Regards, Laurence
Dave Carrington: Hi, Laurence. Impressionism is exactly what I've tried to emulate here. The shot is a reflection in a pond which I rotated through 180 deg. I then altered levels, curves, & selective colours in CS2, et voila! What would Monet say?! smile
I love this, wonderfully soothing, and beautiful colours...
Dave Carrington: Thanks for visiting again, shooter! Glad you like it.

Going to get a mirror installed under the monitor if you carry on like this, I'm still stupid enough to keep craning my neck...at my age....oh top shot old son!
Dave Carrington: Wotcha, Max. You sussed the reflection, then: Sorry to hear about the neck. I know an eighteen year-old Swedish masseuse who I'm sure could help...
