Tracery

Autumn is clearly just around the bend...a Summer to precede it would have been good!

Flower shots, leafy shots...I'm fast becoming a tree-hugger...:-)

Simple but effective, there is something fascinating about leaves, the structure all looks so random yet so organised. Natures fractals.

The next step is to start talking to them! Then you will know the medication is a waste of time!@
Dave Carrington: I seem to recall some leaves can have medicinal properties smile, but not this one: it's a flowering currant...it don't talk to me, so I certainly ain't talking to it! smile
I like this sort of thing.
Dave Carrington: Cheers, Martin!

Lovely. Is this how it actually looked or have you tweaked nature a bit?
Dave Carrington: I placed the leaf between two panes of glass from a nest of tables & lit it with a table lamp!!
Necessity is the mother of, etc: insant light-box on the cheap...smile
This is a wonderful close-up - the light and shade, the subtle shades of colour, the fantastic patterns. I love it.
Ingrid
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ingrid. Nature do produce some stuff don't it? smile
Good pattern shot, well seen.
Dave Carrington: Cheers, Les!
...could almost be a satellite image of a populated land mass.

Lovely patterns and earthy colours.
Dave Carrington: Deinitely so, Jose: it's interesting how a small, dead thing can mimic a large, living landmass...

Is tree hugger the same as rug muncher, or uphill gardener? Hehehe...
Dave Carrington: Tree hugging involves large, woody & natural erections. These other activities involve something a tad more unnatural, non? smile
A wonderful and evocative image DC, you can hear the gentle breeze, the buzz of the bee, the smell of dew on grass, and feel the warmth of the sun on your face, wonderful stuff.....
Dave Carrington: Glad you think so, Shooter!
Fantastic. The gradual color shifts and the details in the leaf are sublime.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it & thanks for taking time to backtrack through my archive, Red Pen.
