have you just nuked Blackpool DC? what a glorious scene and image. Beautiful. mal
Dave Carrington: I go to great lengths to get a dramatic shot: do you know how much a small thermonuclear device costs these days?! smile
Stunning! Absolutely gorgeous color, and the minimalist silhouettes of the cityscape play up the vastness of the sky. A likey.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Red Pen. Glad you likey...smile
Like you're not really a flower person, I'm not really a sunset person but this is seriously, seriously good. You even manage to make the tower look decent.

A real Mary Poppins skyline too.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Jose.
You do realise you've awakened awful repressed memories: I'm going to have nightmares about a ham-actor with the worst Cockney accent in cinema history...just when I thought I had 'em under control...Hey, Doc, the strongest dose you've got, quick!!

Wow, looks like the end of the world has arrived! Hope it will look that beautiful if/when it happens!
Dave Carrington: Ha! The end of the world hit Blackpool about 1977!
P.S. go & sort out Max's pond!
I so agree with you! Nothing could make Blackpool look more beautiful. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Roz. We do get some fine skies over Blackpool, as you can tell! smile

Is that Central pier going up one more time for the Insurance money?? Did you snap this from outside my grannies gaff on Hall avenue?? ( this could turn into the Yes/No game if we're lucky) Ah, just done a quick bit of triangulation..can't be must be somewhere central...Abingdon St...can you ask Lilith to come and sort my pond out
Dave Carrington: Wotcha, Max. I took this one from my loft, just off whitegate Drive near the Belle Vue, so you're not too far off.
I'm sure Lilith would be happy to sort your pond out, but she may wanna sculpt your ass in return!! smile
This is awsome. Love the description too. Regards, chad
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Chad. Glad you like it!
