Tranquility comes to mind.
Dave Carrington: Sea of tranquility, maybe?

Tranquil and marvellous, tricky one to pull off, and I like the white background against this !
Dave Carrington: Ta, Max!

incredibly serene.
Dave Carrington: I borrowed the title from a piece of music by Brian Eno, which is also quite serene!
That's simply splendid... gorgeous colours !!!
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Flo. I'm glad you like it!

You certainly bounce the themes from one end of the spectrum to the other(re your last posting) Talking of spectrums these blues are truly delightful. BUT(and I cant't believe I'm saying this to someone who inspires me) maybe your horizon looks a tad 'iffy'! But the image creates a wonderful tingle factor David.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Richard. I'm truly flattered that you find this stuff inspirational!
You're right about the horizon: it's a bit fuzzy & I should have tried to pump it up more...:-(
I just called to my wife to come and look at this and showed her some of your others. She has gone off ooohing with delight. Beautiful picture.
Dave Carrington: Hi, William. Glad to be of service! smilesmile
Stunning! The colour is so clean and soothing. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ros. I think soothing is exactly right! smile
Serene and soothing blues and greens.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Red Pen: you have echoed the feel that this has given others!

Very painterly DC, but beuatiful nonetheless...
Dave Carrington: Hi, Shooter! I do like that painterly vibe! smile
You have a real talent for surreal landscapes. This is lovely.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Jewlya, if somewhat belated!!
Just found your archive today and I love all of your seascape/cloudscapes. They are almost like Rothko paintings, some of them.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ian. Praise indeed: I'm flattered by the comparison! smile
