That is gorgeous light.Working with the composition and reflection, it all adds up to a super shot.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Michael. We have had some good Winter light here this past week & I've been lucky enough to capture some of it!
Extraordinary! ... This has the feel of India about it. richard
Dave Carrington: Funny you should mention that, Richard: I thought the same thing while I processed this!
Incredible colours and tones.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Florence. Glad you think so!
Great control of the light!
Dave Carrington: Salve, Maximus! I take it the chicken has gone to the big coop in the sky now?

Your last one had me coming back for more. This one will too. Took my breath away when it opened on my screen.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Kathryn. Praise indeed!

Truly amazing colours! These birds are a bit annoing though, have you thought about clonning them out?
Dave Carrington: Hi, Monika. Yes, it did occur to me, but I decided to leave them in!
Nice colours Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Bernie!

something about this light that keeps me looking, was this your L lens?
Dave Carrington: Hi, Rory. Yes it was: it's a very good lens but also rather costly. I use it most of the time, so I guess I've had my money's worth!
Oh my! What incredible colours. Breathtaking photograph. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Ros. Glad you like this one!
I would kill to take pictures as good as yours Dave.
Dave Carrington: I would hate to think I'd incited you to commit murder, Bill!! smile
I was in Blackpool by the North Pier this afternoon hoping to get a good sunset, didn't happen. Great light Dave.
Dave Carrington: That's a shame, Les. We have had quite a few this last week: shame you missed out!
Lovely shot. How many Shutterchancers live in Blackpool?
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ian. We are bloody legion, Matey!! There are several 'Coasthuggers' around the Fylde that I know of: digiphotology, pixelpixie, murphys. Mal is also an honorary coasthugger, but lives over the border in God's Country! If you fancy a trip over, get in touch & we'll show you the unparalleled splendour of Sodom...sorry, Blackpool! smile
