this could be blackpool,it reminds me of the prom.like the shot dave.
Dave Carrington: Hadn't thought about that, Mick, but now that you've pointed it out, it's obvious!
OoH! I like this! Love all the sharp detail and the tone. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Ros! smile
Somehow the blurred car coming into the shot makes it.
Dave Carrington: You can't beat half of a blurred car when you need it! smile

I like the motion in this one with the blurred car. Interesting street, where is this I might need a beer, a body piercing, and a tattoo lol Unlikely though smile
Dave Carrington: Sixth St. is in Austin, Texas. It's full of atmosphere & I could have spent a week there taking pictures!! smile

Lol, you're kidding! This is Blackpool!
Dave Carrington: No chance: it's Austin, TX where the booze is cheaper & the music is ten times better than the banging nuisance you hear escaping from Blackpool pubs & clubs! smile
Hi Dave - I really like this one on several levels : good street scene - with some movement for interest. I don't know Sixth Street but somehow I feel you may have captured its essence(?). Monochrome (good tonal range) somehow suits the scene with the tattoo and body piercing shops. My favourite today. Mike
Dave Carrington: Hi, Mike. It's a little sleazy, rough around the edges & probably slightly threatening & that's on a Sunday afternoon! In short, a pretty cool place...smile

So ordinary but so well executed! Very good choice of B&W, this picture seems to tell a story on its own...
