OK, it's another pier shot. I could post these for a year and a day: I really do like them! At this time of day as the light fails, the tones changes by the minute. You would not believe how many of these I have...

It appears a bit underexposed and the colours a tad flat but its a lovely location.
Dave Carrington: Agreed, Stan: low light's always dodgey. I've tried to capture the light without losing the detail: maybe next time...

Dave, I love the serenity here. The low lighting and those beautiful relections in the water in the foreground are heaven on earth.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Kathryn.
As the Monkees once sang..'I'm a believer'.
Probably only a manifestation of some deep rooted manic-compulsive disorder that is presenting itself in the necessity to return, re-assess and reshoot! Nothing to worry about there then. But if you are climbing the stairs to Bonkersdom,no worries, if you keep knocking ones out as good as this!
Dave Carrington: Bonkersdom awaits all of us, eventually...may it be artistic & fruitful, I say...If not, shoot us like mad dogs before we commit those crimes that society will not allow...
Very nice shot. The lighting creates a very serene atmosphere
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Richard!

keep 'em coming I say
Dave Carrington: Do my best, Mate...
So it appears that there is no peer pressure for you to peer out into the gathering dusk and takes piers then. Keep treading the treadmill These images suit me as well. richard
Dave Carrington: That I will, Mr. Trim!
lovely shot Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Tim.

I like this Dave, but the more I look at it the more I wish the pier wasn't so central. Trouble is I don't know whether I would crop the top or the bottom or both and make a narrow letterbox. Or just leave it as it is cos it is very nice!
Dave Carrington: These things are sent to try us: dilemmas, dillemmas...smile

Beautiful sky and I like the puddles of water on the sand. Very, very pretty...
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Monika!

A belter DC gotta love those colours, what's this I hear about you and the old fella visiting my wrecks??
Dave Carrington: Wotcha, Shooter! Yes, we've been back to the wrecks once more: mob-handed this time. Al's admission fee profit is very strong this week!

It's immense, especially the colour of the sand pools. Great positioning of the pier - it's a dynamic rushing through the land and sky.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, David. Glad you like it!
