What a dramatic sky... and it's difficult to distinguish sand from sea....
Dave Carrington: Hi, Florence! We do get great skies on this
Fantastic viewpoint and comp...and something my Tokina can't manage.. a straight horizon.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Max!

cracking shot dave.i got out wednesday for the first time this week.
Dave Carrington: This weather is too grim: that tabletop shot is very tempting...
Lovely shot David - what a great sky.
Dave Carrington: Hi, Bernie. We do seem to be blessed with some dramatic skies here ( & a little pumping-up in CS2!)smile
Oh my! I wish I had taken this one - it is absolutely breathtaking. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ros! Have a little sit down & breathe slowly & deeply...smilesmile

Amazing shot - I can only add my voice to everyone else's. Apart from the dramatic sky, I love the composition. Did you have to do a lot of PP work?
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ingrid. The original was shot using a polariser. I use CS2 for PP work: I coverted the RAW file, tweaking the shadows. Then used levels> options> per channel contrast adjustments, selective colour tweaks, & a slight crop: bingo!

Beautiful shot. I love the rusty fence in the foreground.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Ian. Thought the rusty steel would make a different foreground!
