This is amazing, the colours are great, its hard to get a sense of scale, and is it my imagination working overtime or is that three japenese looking figures standing at the left hand side?
Dave Carrington: Hi, Padraig. This a shot of the hull of the Isle of Man ferry that sails from Fleetwood. Maybe there are some Japanese stowaways on board...smile
Nice one Dave. That's it really, I just like this!
Dave Carrington: Hi, Bill. I'd like to know why you like it: compo, tones, etc. I ask because I'm thinking of printing this one up...

i have absolutely no idea how you have done that Dave, its just like a painting quite amazing. Super stuffsmile
Dave Carrington: Hi, Tim. It's basically a shot of the hull of a ferry. I've only tweaked the colours & exposure a touch because I had a polariser on the lens: the original was a little dark.

No way, I would never have figured that out, I thought it was like some kind of exhibition perhaps in a gallery with an industrial desighn or a converted building and that orange/rusty band along the bottom was a canvas, I still see the japense figures as cleear as day, they're really very good...LOL
Dave Carrington: I like to keep you on your toes, Padraig!! smile
Brilliant, Dave! Another one which would make a fine piece of wall art. Stunning. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Ros. smile

Even knowing what it is, and how simple it might have been taking, processing it, it's still a masterwork of art: You have the EYE!!!! wink and that no technology in the world can replace. Congrats!
Dave Carrington: Thank you for trawling through my work & the encouragement. It really is appreciated, shinwind! smile
