I really like this one. Love the riot of color and how you use a shallow DOF (or blur it) to give play to the shapes and colours.
Dave Carrington: Hey, Dawn! Yes, I've used a blur or two here. I've also boosted the luminosity, levels & saturation to achieve the end result.
I can imagine this hanging on the wall.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Bill. A wall it probably deserves!
Through the window of a cath├ędral ! Good point !
Dave Carrington: Hi, Fabrice. It's actually an empty shop in Bristol, but maybe it's a cathedral for the empty retail sector?

"General Relativity"

The title hints at a cross between military and Einstein wink

Lovely picture, something very simple made to look exquisite
Dave Carrington: As usual, Ellie, you have hit the nail on the head: yes, it's a very simple image that I've tried to lift above the ordinary. Not sure about the military aspect, although Euclid had a hand in this one!? I'm sure Einstein was familiar with Euclidean geometry, unlike meself...! smile

I don't know about enough about physics to understand the title, I guess, but this is an extremely beautiful photograph. The colors envelop but do not overwhelm. There's a depth to it, too.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it. I also know very little about physics: it just seemed to fit as a title!!
