Lovely capture, David. The sky reflected in the lagoon really makes it special.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Larry!
Superb capture! Very softness light and reflection. Great.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Poly!

I like the low-key atmosphere of the shot, and the tiny little person out there is a nice touch, too.
Dave Carrington: You can't beat an (almost) deserted beach.
Bleakness personified ... beautiful.
richard
Dave Carrington: Bleak seems to agree with my photography, Richard!
Simple. And simple is good!
Dave Carrington: Simple is often emotive & affective, Bill!
OR it's Dave Nightingale cut off by the tide again!

A peaceful winter walk!
Dave Carrington: Serves him right, daft bugger! This beach can be quite alarming if you are unwary, as you know!
Very beautiful.
Dave Carrington: Glad you think so, Stefania smile

This certainly gives a feeling of the immensity of the sea and sky and the insignificance of man. I love that huge puddle and the reflections.
Ingrid
Dave Carrington: The immensity & power of the sea is something you appreciate when you live here. There's also a great beauty in it's significance when you look properly.

... except for that tiddly little ship on the horizon wink

fantastic picture, lovely atmosphere too
Dave Carrington: Hi, Ellie. Yon little ship is actually a gas-rig that supplies the Heysham terminal, but a little ship is much more poetic & in keeping with the shot, methinks: would that it were so a clipper returning from the Orient laden with exotics & such...alas not..! smile

Fabulous; the solitary figure really makes this. Love the little streak of pink.
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Alan!
