Love the inky blackness of the water - you must have felt like the only person in the world!
Ingrid
Dave Carrington: I must be the only person daft enough to venture out onto Blackpool beach when it's so bloody cold!

Super-cool shot! H.
Dave Carrington: Ta, Zeus! smile
Great foreground and an ideal placing of the sun to make a lovely composition, well done Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Brian. Glad you like it!

Very dramatic scene. Well captured, too. Gotta love the Earth. It's an amazing place.
Dave Carrington: It is & the only place I've access to really! smile

magical moment of the day, Dave.
Regarding the shot, scroll down a bit to cut off the sky and the sun, leaving just the relection. This is your picture. Now you have a great movement to a single focal point.
You might disagree, though, and that's ok.
Dave Carrington: Interesting: hang on...you may be right...tried it...still like the sky tones, though, Viktor.

appealing twilight tones...
Dave Carrington: Hey, Sam! Squealing tight tunes...ah, I have daily sex...sorry, dislexia! smilesmile
I was going to say the same thing as VZ. The tones in the sky are nice... but it's the texture and colours of the sand that are the story, the part of the photo that isn't often seen.
Dave Carrington: I agree that the foreground is the point of interest, Jim. To me the shot seemed imbalanced without the inclusion of the sky. I have a few more of these, so might post a cropped version.
Gorgeous capture of light and textures.
Dave Carrington: Hey, you! Glad you like it & thanks for coming back to visit!
Very nice!
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Lightning! smile

Wonderful shot !!! All on this shot is superb !!
Really great shot. Bravo, Dave.
Dave Carrington: Thank you, Fabrice! smile
Ah the beauty of Blackpool again! You certainly make it seem like the place to be!
Dave Carrington: Blackpool is OK if you're looking west from the beach. Look eastward & it's a different story! smile
