beautifully subtle and minimal. Excellent shot.
Dave Carrington: Glad you think so, Dude!
Wonderfully washed out. richard
Dave Carrington: I am nothing if not a wash out, Richard..! smile
This is a beautiful picture Dave.
Dave Carrington: So glad you think so, Bill! smile
Dave Carrington: A lovely word & one that is very apt for this shot, Stefania.
A good way of muting what must have been strong colours, did you use white fill layer with reduced opacity?
Dave Carrington: I have to own up here, Nig: I hadn't realised the camera's 'White-balance' was set to 'Flash': I must have done this by mistake while messing about with some settings! I guess this produced this not unpleasant result? smile
I really like this pastel abstract Dave. It's always more tempting to increase saturation but this effect is much softer on the eyes smile
Dave Carrington: Pastel is exactly feel I wanted here, Pamela.

I saw a sky like this the other day, I photographed it because it was so pretty but it didn't capture the atmosphere as yours does.
Dave Carrington: I think the sea helps: the light seems to be mirrored back, rather than contrasted by a solid land mass?

I like this abstract. Somewhere in my old idleye collection (now cast into the virtual void) is an image drawing on the same sensibility. But yours is better.
