nothing's stopping you Dave, but to get closer to Damien Hirst you should've split the sheep in two, ot at least partially skinned it. smile
Dave Carrington: That's it, Viktor! I'll have to start taking a chainsaw & a paring knife down to the beach along with my camera! smilesmile
lol
still tagged too...
hops anyone??
cheers
rob
Dave Carrington: Even a bit of mint sauce couldn't perk this up, Rob! smile

You should have sent the ear tag to DEFFRA! Then we would know where it had come from. Like a message in a bottle only in this case a message in a sheep! But will it become a tourist attraction like the Riverdance?
Dave Carrington: Hard to top the Riverdance episode...maybe this would be better on EweTube? smile
The emotional side of me doesn't like this - I hate to see the demise of any animal. However, the textures are great, as is the composition smile)
Dave Carrington: I agree with your sentiments, Pam. I just think the shot has a sense of the forlorn: a random victim of the sea...
well that certainly catches one's attention Dave and to think i held back from showing a sheeps scull i came across while walking in Mallham lol
Dave Carrington: Ah, Mallam: I have spent many happy hours there. A Sheep's skull I never came across: post it or be damned...smile
Heartbreaking! I often find dead deer in the forest. There was a tiny doe not that long ago on my neighbor's property. In a matter of days three eagles left nothing but bones.
Dave Carrington: Not a happy image I have to say, Suzanne, yet there is something that draws you to it. I know it's a little morbid, but I like it..!?
Even death can be beautiful!
Dave Carrington: Yes, but the sheep may not agree... smile
Reminds me of the Rauschenberg goat at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm (here the link: http://www.modernamuseet.se/v4/templates/template1.asp?lang=Eng&id=2421) Yours is another monogram Have it stuffed
Dave Carrington: Har! To stuff it would preserve nothing but a dead sheep. It's worthless as art: it has by now rotted away, but is preserved as a photograph: should that be remembered as art..?
