Hi Dave...maybe it's just the opium talking, but many of my images started to shift in this direction on my recent trip to the Bay geography the key here? These "Color-as-Subject" images are tough to pull off...very tough! You seem to have a natural affinity though, and it's having a positive effect on my experiments. This one may have too much detail in focus...just enough to distract my eye from the color as it looks to define the little detail there is. Please keep 'em coming! Cheers!
Dave Carrington: Hi, Alan. I have to admit I have no experience of having taken opium: it just seemed to fit the image & the 'Trippy' notion here: CS2 is much safer!!

I'm glad you're inspired by my work: I take that as a real compliment!

'Color-as-subject' is very apt: pure color is a painterly concept that traditional photography can somtimes miss: too tied up with sharpness, technical detail, etc.
Just keep them coming!! smile
Dave Carrington: Will do, Ian: wouldn't be right if I didn't, really... smile
there must be a market out there for these type of images Dave, superbsmile
Dave Carrington: Agreed, Matey: working on
