Station Approach

This is an old shot taken on Windermere Station while waiting for the last train home. I know it's noisey & i've not attempted to remove it:: digital noise can add texture to an otherwise uninteresting shot.

ha. you could've said there was a heavy snow that evening and we'd believe you, Dave. smile
Dave Carrington: Oh, 'twas one of the worst blizzards in living memory: I happened upon it with me trusty old Olympus... smile

Very atmospheric Dave - it almost looks like a reflection. Some of the best shots are accidents like this!
Ingrid
Dave Carrington: Indeed, Ingrid. I think I should have cropped out the top 15% or so, though!

And made it very interesting indeed.
Dave Carrington: Hey, Sam! Glad you think so smile
Love this Dave and agree with you that a trim off the top would be good
Dave Carrington: Great minds think alike...shame I decided after I posted!! smile
Love the "grain". Reminds me of the good old times when noise wasn't didn't exist. Reminds me of a shot I accidentally made ages ago with an 800ISO roll in my old Canon T70, same kind of setting shot from a train on the move, should scan it someday. Damn this good old time nostalgia!
Dave Carrington: Get it scanned in: you know it makes perfect sense..! smilesmile
