Just great, can't say much more. Well caught David. Just wish our pier had as much character.
Dave Carrington: Cheers, Les. I think all piers have character: I'd love some bugger to commission me to shoot them all,

Such a tranqul and relaxing shot, my cup of teasmile
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Tracy. Tranquil is cool.
That is a sweet shot. Tracy said 'tranquil' and that is the perfect word.
The processing is wonderful.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Michael. Glad you like the processing.

The way the sun streams down from behind the pier and is dancing on those water ripples takes my breath away.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Kathryn. Glad you like this1
Lovely shot Dave - I particularly like the lighting.
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Bernie. The light was lovely this evening!

This is almost too good. I just love it Dave. Into the old likeys with this little chap smile
Dave Carrington: Glad you like it, Bill. As has been pointed out, there is some noise in there: that's down to my loose processing, I'm afraid!
Sublime! Gorgeous silhouette, and the sea looks like molten metal. Just so good. (:o)
Dave Carrington: Thank you so much, Ros!
Full of Asian promise ... as I mentioned before. richard
Dave Carrington: Thanks, Richard. It does have similsr qualities...
Soothingly serene!

Did you push or pull (never remember which is which!)the exposure to get the detail in the shadows, it's noisy in some bits but not in others.
Dave Carrington: Jose, I did push, pull, tweak, stretch, & stew this!! Too much Pinot Grigio does not equate with measured judgement, I'm afraid! I'll try to do better next time,
I love your pp here. As Jose queries, I suspect this was a Shadows/Highlights tweak?
Dave Carrington: I did boost the shadows: now that I look at it properly, way too much!! There is a lesson here for me: do not process images after an excess of Pinot Grigio. It will cloud one's judgement...
